A berry is a status item for Pokémon that provides an effect in or outside of battle.
<br/>
A berry is a status item for Pokémon and cannot be eaten by the player. They are found in the wild all over your world, with some only spawning in certain biome conditions.

Obtaining
Obtaining
As of Cobblemon version 1.4, berries are obtained from harvesting berry trees. There are 69 types of berry in Cobblemon, each with their own effect. 30 types of berry naturally spawn, with 39 being a result of crossbreeding certain berries.
Berries are obtained from harvesting a berry tree, of which can be found around your world, each give you a selected amount per yield. There are 30 natural berries and 39 mutation berries, which can be obtained by crossbreeding.

Berry Farming
Usage
Using farmland, the player can grow all types of berries. There are 4 stages of maturity for berry trees, using bonemeal on a fully mature berry plant will cause it to grow more berries; However note that it takes 2 bonemeal to achieve this. If the player has more berries than they need, they can be used in composters and can be recycled to get bonemeal back for future use.
Berries can be used in brewing stands to get a variety of medicals items such as potions, or used at a crafting bench to obtain vitamins and X-stats. Berries can be used on Pokémon by either having them hold the berry, or right clicking them with it. As of the 1.6 update, there is no cooldown or limit to using berries outside of battle.

If the player wishes to get into more advanced berry farming, they can plant berries next to each other to result in a mutated berry. Note that not every combination of 2 berry can result in a mutation, it is also important to know that mutations can only happen if planted right next to each other, below is a visual demonstration assuming O is where your berry is planted.

As of Cobblemon 1.6, berries can also be attached to a Poké Rod as bait, providing varying effects depending on the berry used.

A berry is a status item for Pokémon that provides an effect in or outside of battle.

Obtaining

Berries are obtained from harvesting a berry tree, of which can be found around your world, each give you a selected amount per yield. There are 30 natural berries and 39 mutation berries, which can be obtained by crossbreeding.

Usage

Berries can be used in brewing stands to get a variety of medicals items such as potions, or used at a crafting bench to obtain vitamins and X-stats. Berries can be used on Pokémon by either having them hold the berry, or right clicking them with it. As of the 1.6 update, there is no cooldown or limit to using berries outside of battle.
