Terrain Seeds are held items that boost the holder's Defense or Special Defense when the seed's respective terrain effect is currently active. Electric Seed and Grassy Seed both increase the Defense of the holder by one stage, whilst the Misty Seed and Psychic Seed increase the Special Defense of the holder by one stage.
