A Data Monitor is a utility block with a light-up screen. It is utilized within the Resurrection Machine multi-block, alongside the Fossil Analyzer and Restoration Tank. Data Monitors can also be used to spawn Porygon, Porygon2 and Porygon-Z.

Resurrection Machine
When hooked up as part of a Resurrection Machine, the Data Monitor functions as a visualization of the embryo development progression, displaying a bar that fills up as the embryo develops. It can activate a Redstone Comparator depending on the current level of progress.

Data Monitor Corruption
Upon using an Upgrade on a Data Monitor, it will play a flashing loading screen for a short time. Upon finishing loading, the monitor will break, spawning a Porygon or Porygon2. Porygon and Porygon2 spawned this way have a higher chance of being a shiny or an alpha.
Upon using a Dubious Disc on a Data Monitor, it will play pink and blue static for a short time, before the monitor explodes, destroying the monitor, generating sculk veins around the destroyed data monitor and spawning a Porygon-Z. Porygon-Z spawned this way have a higher chance of being a shiny or an alpha.
Decorational Screen
Upon using a TM or a music disc on a Data Monitor, the screen will display a visual matching the inserted disc, with a type icon appearing for TM's or a musical note appearing for a music disc.
